These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SolidBaseBooks website and your purchase or use of our digital products. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

We sell digital books and guides for personal educational use. Product descriptions, prices, currency, availability, and delivery information shown at checkout form part of your order.
The Pet Training Guide provides general educational information. It is not veterinary, medical, behavioural, emergency, or professional advice. If an animal presents a safety, health, welfare, or serious behavioural concern, consult an appropriately qualified professional.
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to buy the selected product. We may decline or cancel an order where permitted by law, including where pricing or product information contains an obvious error.
Prices and the applicable currency are shown before payment. You are responsible for any taxes, bank charges, or currency-conversion charges that apply to your purchase unless the checkout says otherwise.
Payments are processed through PayPal. We do not receive or store full payment-card details when they are handled directly by PayPal.
After successful payment, the digital product is made available as a downloadable digital file. Keep your order confirmation and download information secure.
If you cannot access your download, contact us at theuns@solidbasebooks.com with your order details.
Because each product is a one-time purchase of downloadable digital content, purchases are final and we do not offer refunds or cancellations once the download has been made available or accessed.
If a download is defective, unavailable, or materially different from its description, contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide access, a replacement, or a refund. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
Once payment is received, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the purchased digital product for your own non-commercial use.
You may not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, share, publish, adapt, or exploit any product or website content except where we have given prior written permission or applicable law allows it. All intellectual-property rights remain with SolidBaseBooks or its licensors.
You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce harmful code, or use the content in a way that infringes another person’s rights or breaks the law.
Animals and training circumstances vary. We do not guarantee a particular training, behavioural, health, commercial, or other outcome from using our products.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SolidBaseBooks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or a digital product. Our total liability for a claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
This does not exclude or limit liability where exclusion or limitation is unlawful, including liability for fraud or any consumer right that cannot be waived.
The website may use or link to third-party services, including PayPal. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our reasonable control.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will appear on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. The Terms in force when you place an order apply to that order unless law requires otherwise.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, except where the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law will resolve disputes.
